What we collect
Names you have used, states and cities of residence, an approximate age range, an email address, the categories you want searched, and — if you choose — details about a deceased relative.
What we never collect
Social Security numbers, bank or brokerage logins, government account passwords, card numbers, or any account password of any kind.
Where prototype data lives
In this prototype, everything you enter is stored in your own browser's local storage. It is not transmitted to a Lost & Owed server.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We do not share your profile with claim-recovery firms or lead buyers.
Notifications
Email, browser and any future browser-extension activity each require separate, explicit consent, and each can be withdrawn independently.
Your controls
You can export a copy of your data or delete your profile and all associated records at any time from the Privacy Center.
